Powderfinger Ticket Alerts: All 26 Live 2027 Shows Sold Out
All 26 announced Powderfinger Live 2027 shows are sold out as of 19 October 2026. After last week’s presales and today’s general sale, fans across Australia are still looking for a way into the band’s first tour in 17 years.
If you missed out, there is still a reason to watch the official ticket pages. Small ticket releases can appear after a sell-out, and TicketRobin can alert you when matching availability appears on Ticketmaster Australia.

How quickly did Powderfinger tickets sell out?
The rush began with artist and Telstra Plus presales on Wednesday 14 October, followed by the Live Nation presale on Friday 16 October. Extra nights were added as demand became clear. General sale followed on Monday 19 October, with opening times staggered by city.
Last week’s presales set the pattern. Eight minutes into Friday’s Live Nation presale, Ticketmaster was directing Melbourne fans towards the 1 November show because options for the six October nights were already very limited.
The final general sale moved even faster:
- Melbourne: Opened at 10:00am AEDT. By 10:05am, Ticketmaster reported very limited tickets across all seven shows.
- Brisbane: Opened at 10:00am AEST. At 11:04am AEDT, equivalent to 10:04am in Brisbane, Ticketmaster reported very limited tickets for all six nights.
- Sydney: Opened at 1:00pm AEDT. By 1:05pm, tickets were very limited for the four originally announced nights.
Ticketmaster warned that tickets would likely sell out before everyone reached the sale. These timestamps show options running out within minutes, rather than an exact sell-out time for every show. All 26 announced dates were subsequently confirmed sold out.
Can Powderfinger tickets come back after a sell-out?
They can, although a release is never guaranteed. On high-demand tours, official availability can change when unpaid orders expire, orders are cancelled, or production and promoter holds are released once arrangements are finalised.
That might mean a handful of standing tickets, a seated pair, or a ticket category you previously could not buy. There is no confirmed schedule for further Powderfinger ticket drops, so checking once a day can easily miss a short window.
An existing show receiving more tickets is also different from a new show being announced. A tracker watches the event you select. Keep following Powderfinger’s official mailing list and tour announcements for additional dates, then set up trackers for any new nights you can attend once they are listed.
How to get Powderfinger ticket alerts with TicketRobin
TicketRobin supports Ticketmaster Australia and has a dedicated Powderfinger setup page:
- Open the Powderfinger ticket alerts page. Choose the city and exact 2027 date you want.
- Set your ticket quantity and budget. Enter your maximum price per ticket in Australian dollars, and allow for any additional checkout fees in your overall budget.
- Choose standing, seated, or both. Keep both selected if either works for you. If you need a particular ticket type, make sure your settings reflect that.
- Enter your details and confirm your email. Your tracker starts after you verify your address. Setup is free, with no card needed.
- Add separate trackers for other nights you can attend. Each show has its own availability. A Melbourne tracker will not watch Sydney, or even a different Melbourne date.
Basic trackers check hourly. Fast checks every five minutes, while Instant is TicketRobin’s fastest alert tier and includes WhatsApp notifications. For a small release that disappears quickly, the checking interval matters.
When an alert arrives, follow the link and complete your purchase on Ticketmaster. TicketRobin alerts you to matching availability; it cannot reserve tickets or guarantee a successful checkout.
Powderfinger Live 2027 dates to track
The expanded tour runs from 3 September to 1 November 2027. All dates below are sold out as of 19 October 2026, and each night needs its own tracker.
| City | Venue | 2027 dates |
|---|---|---|
| Brisbane | Brisbane Showgrounds | 3, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 11 September |
| Cairns | Cazalys Stadium | 17 and 18 September |
| Perth | Wellington Square | 24, 25 and 27 September |
| Sydney | The Domain | 1, 2, 4, 6, 8 and 9 October |
| Adelaide | Ellis Park | 15 and 16 October |
| Melbourne | Melbourne Park Oval | 22, 23, 25, 27, 29 and 30 October; 1 November |
If you can make a weekday show, include it in your options. Flexibility gives you more individual events to watch, without assuming that any particular night will receive more tickets.
Check the ticket type and avoid unofficial offers
Powderfinger’s tour FAQ identifies Ticketmaster as the authorised ticket seller and warns against buying through unauthorised resellers or social media. The FAQ says resale details will be released later, so do not assume official resale is already available for these shows.
The tour uses a stadium-sized big top with seated and standing options. Before paying, check your date, ticket category, any restricted-view information, and the final total. A VIP package or add-on may differ from the admission ticket you intended to buy.
Tickets are mobile-only through the Ticketmaster app, with barcodes due to appear seven days before the show. A screenshot offered in a comment or private message is not proof of a valid ticket.
Keep your Ticketmaster login and payment details ready so you can act when an alert arrives. Availability can move again before checkout is complete.
